Heritage Buildings — Ireland
A thin, vapour-permeable cork coating designed for solid wall and heritage buildings, improving thermal performance without trapping moisture or altering the building fabric.
Solid wall and historic buildings behave differently to modern cavity construction.
Adding impermeable systems or insulated boards can trap moisture within the wall structure, leading to long-term deterioration, internal damp issues, and loss of breathability.
Maintaining vapour permeability is critical.

VIPEQ Thermal Corkspray is applied in a thin layer (approx. 3–6mm), forming a breathable thermal coating that works in harmony with the building fabric.
It improves internal surface temperature while allowing moisture vapour to pass through the wall naturally.

"Maintaining breathability was key on this project. The cork system allowed us to improve internal comfort without compromising the building fabric."
"Useful solution where traditional insulation methods were not suitable due to moisture risk."
